Design is Passion
Eric Eng Design is a cross-disciplinary design collaborative working between the US and UK. Native to Chicago, Eric’s work spans the areas of identity, branding, environmental, exhibition, web, interactive and publishing.
Following his training at the Maine College of Art in 2004, Eric continued his academic development in London. In 2008 he received his Master’s in graphic design from the London College of Communication (formerly London College of Printing), focusing on typography and letterpress printing. Formerly printing at St Bride Library’s letterpress studio on project and personal work, he is currently working on various projects in the US, London and Brussels.
Eric’s passion for typographic form and user-centered design can been recognised throughout his work, having been published in books in the UK and US. His interest in languages and communication have driven his engagement with projects throughout the world. His work looks to balance client-based projects with self-initiated explorations, allowing each to intersect in an innovative, process-led approach.
The wealth of musical and artistic training throughout his career have supported the belief that design is a way of life.
